Our Standard/Queen pillowcase fits most standard and queen-size pillows, while our King pillowcase is designed for longer king-size pillows.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is an internationally recognized textile-safety certification. A product carrying this label has been independently tested for a wide range of substances that may be harmful to human health.

Testing can include every component of the finished textile product—not only the main fabric. Certification requirements become more stringent for products intended to have close and prolonged contact with the skin.

Mulberry Silk is produced by silkworms raised on a controlled diet of Mulberry leaves. The resulting silk fibres are known for their smoothness, strength, consistency and natural lustre.

Within commonly used industry grading terminology, Grade 6A represents the highest grade of long-strand Mulberry Silk. Its fine, uniform fibres create the exceptionally smooth and luxurious surface that makes premium Mulberry Silk ideal for pillowcases and other products that rest directly against the skin and hair.

Momme—pronounced “mommy”—is a traditional measurement used to describe the weight and density of silk fabric. It is not exactly the same as thread count, although it serves a similar purpose when comparing silk quality.

A higher Momme generally indicates a denser, more substantial and durable silk fabric. For pillowcases, 22–25 Momme offers an excellent balance of softness, strength, breathability and long-lasting luxury.

Mulberry Silk is a natural protein fibre prized for its smoothness, breathability and luxurious feel. It creates minimal friction against the skin and hair and is less absorbent than many conventional fabrics.

Satin describes a weave and finish rather than a specific fibre. Many satin pillowcases are made from polyester, which can imitate silk’s smooth appearance but does not offer the same natural fibre composition, breathability or luxurious feel as genuine Mulberry Silk.

Cotton is soft, familiar and breathable, but it is generally more absorbent and creates more friction than silk. Cotton may absorb more moisture and nighttime skincare from the skin and can contribute to hair tangling or frizz.

The Brindy Blemish Control Pillowcase incorporates silver-ion technology into the fabric. Silver ions help inhibit the growth of odour-causing bacteria on the textile, supporting a fresher and more hygienic sleep surface between washes. This makes it an excellent option for customers with oily, sensitive or blemish-prone skin.

The Classic Brindy Mulberry Silk Pillowcase provides the natural beauty benefits of premium Mulberry Silk without added silver-ion technology. Its smooth surface helps reduce friction against the skin and hair, while its lower absorbency helps preserve natural moisture and nighttime skincare.

The Blemish Control Pillowcase is designed to complement a skincare routine. It is not intended to treat, prevent or cure acne or any other medical condition.

For maximum longevity, gently hand-wash your silk pillowcase in cold water using a pH-neutral, silk-safe detergent. You only need to wash it every 1-2 weeks.

If machine washing, follow these steps:

• Place the pillowcase inside out in a Brindy Silk Delicate Care Bag
• Use cold water no warmer than 30°C or 85°F
• Select a gentle or delicate cycle
• Wash with other lightweight, delicate items
• Use a pH-neutral detergent formulated for silk
• Avoid bleach, fabric softener and harsh stain removers
• Keep silk away from zippers, hooks and rough fabrics

Never tumble-dry your Brindy Silk pillowcase. The heat and movement of a dryer can damage the delicate silk fibres, affect the finish and cause unnecessary shrinkage.

After washing:

• Gently press out excess water without twisting or wringing
• Lay flat or hang to air-dry
• Keep away from direct sunlight and heat
• Do not place on a radiator or heated surface

If ironing is necessary, turn the pillowcase inside out and use the lowest silk-safe temperature while the fabric is slightly damp. A garment steamer on a gentle setting may also be used with care.
